From Strong H1-2025 Results to Clean Energy Milestones, DSSA Reinforces Its Role in Indonesia’s Sustainable Future

Jakarta, September 11, 2025 – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (“DSSA” or the “Company”) on September 10, 2025 announced its consolidated financial statements for the six-month period ended June 30, 2025. Amid global market volatility and pressures on coal commodities, the Company successfully maintained positive performance in H1-2025, recording consolidated revenue of USD 1.3 billion, EBITDA of USD 318 million, and net income of USD 171.1 million. Total assets stood at USD 3.9 billion, with equity reaching USD 2.0 billion as of the end of June 2025. These results underscore DSSA’s resilient business model in responding to global energy market dynamics, while also reflecting the effectiveness of its strategies in maintaining financial stability and driving business transformation towards a sustainable ecosystem.

Renewable Energy Becomes Increasingly Tangible

As part of its portfolio diversification strategy and energy transition commitment, DSSA achieved two significant milestones in renewable energy during the first half of 2025. The first was the inauguration of Indonesia’s first and largest integrated solar cell and panel factory by PT Trina Mas Agra Indonesia (TMAI)—a joint venture formed through a strategic partnership between PT Daya Sukses Makmur Selaras (a DSSA subsidiary), Trina Solar Co Ltd, and PT PLN Indonesia Power Renewable. Located in the Kendal Industrial Estate, Central Java, the plant has a production capacity of up to 1 GW per year and adopts i-TOPCon Advanced technology with an efficiency rate of 23.2%. With an investment value of more than IDR 1.5 trillion, this facility is targeted to become a national production hub to support domestic energy industry independence and accelerate the adoption of clean energy in Indonesia.

Another initiative was the strategic partnership between PT DSSR Daya Mas Sakti (a DSSA subsidiary) and PT FirstGen Geothermal Indonesia (a subsidiary of Energy Development Corporation—part of First Gen Corporation, a leading renewable energy player in Asia). This collaboration aims to develop geothermal projects with a capacity of up to 440 MW across six strategic regions in Indonesia. The project is expected to become one of the largest geothermal developments in the country, playing a crucial role in strengthening the national energy mix while generating long-term economic, social, and environmental benefits.

L. Krisnan Cahya, President Director of DSSA, stated:
“We believe that the future of DSSA depends on our ability to adapt and innovate. Despite pressures in the coal sector, we continue to strengthen our foothold in renewable energy. The inauguration of the solar cell and panel factory in Kendal and the geothermal development with PT FirstGen Geothermal Indonesia are not just business initiatives, but concrete steps reflecting our commitment to a clean energy future and the creation of sustainable value for all stakeholders.”

Commitment to Sustainable Growth

DSSA’s commitment to sustainability and business innovation received regional recognition through its ranking at 119th place in the prestigious Fortune Southeast Asia 500 2025 list. This achievement reinforces DSSA’s position as a key player in the energy and infrastructure sector and highlights its strategic contribution to advancing the national energy transition.

With a solid financial structure and a progressive business vision, DSSA continues to strengthen its contribution toward the national net-zero emissions target. The strategic initiatives being implemented are focused not only on growth but also on generating lasting social and environmental value.

The geothermal projects developed in collaboration with FirstGen represent a key pillar of DSSA’s sustainability agenda, spanning six potential areas in five Indonesian provinces, including West Java, East Nusa Tenggara, Jambi, West Sumatra, and Central Sulawesi. With abundant energy reserves in these regions, the projects are expected not only to increase national energy capacity but also to support the creation of green jobs, enable technology transfer, and significantly reduce carbon emissions from the energy sector.

Beyond geothermal energy, DSSA is also actively developing digital infrastructure and other clean energy services, in line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Through synergies across its business lines, DSSA is committed to building a resilient portfolio that remains relevant to future demands and adaptive to climate change and technological advancements.
